Given a camera for christmas at the age of thirteen, I have used photography and design as a creative outlet ever since. The dualistic nature of photography provides me with both a source of boundless visual inspiration and a limitless area of technical study. Never completely at home in the darkroom, endless prints found their way to the bin before the advent of digital processing allowed me to explore the possibilities of matching what was in my head with what was on the print.

I try to bring a new perspective to the images that present themselves to me, either through using traditional photographic technique, or by using post processing to bring out the elements of what I photograph. Travel has been the source of many of my favourite images, it offers such incredible opportunities to find interest in the scenes that present themselves. My current challenge is to explore making images of people, both candid and orchestrated. My long suffering friends have become extremely familiar with the sight of me holding a camera in my hands.

Currently based in London, I try to photograph the many colourful events that are a part of this city at every opportunity. The images found on these pages represent some of my work from the past couple of years. Please feel free to contact me with comments or questions.
